Common questions on 13oz matte vinyl banner
Single stitch is standard for general outdoor events up to 6 months. Double stitch uses heavy nylon thread along the folded perimeter for high-wind installations and multi-year longevity.
For banners under 10×10 ft, heat welding fuses the vinyl hem together using thermal bonding rather than thread needles, creating a clean, puncture-free edge.
For street lamp posts, we recommend adding pole pockets (top and bottom) with 1" or 2" reinforced webbing to withstand wind gusts.
